Join the locals at the markets, held twice every month in the district.
• The Childers Markets are conducted on the third Sunday of each month in the grounds of the Historical Village, located in Taylor Street.
These markets are run by the Childers branch of the Queensland Arts Council and have a strong
representation of quality art and craft.
• The Apple Tree Creek Markets are held on the second Saturday of each month at the Apple Tree Creek Sportsground.
Run by the Childers Show Committee, the markets offer a wide range of fresh fruit and vegetable, preservatives and arts and crafts.

Childers Festival of Cultures
The annual Festival of Cultures celebrates its fifteenth year in 2010. This year the festival will be celebrated over the weekend of 24th and 25th July.
